*Survivor 49* is now officially in the books, and a new champion has been crowned. And that new champion is not done playing.

At the conclusion of the *Survivor 49 finale*, we were given our first look at the landmark anniversary season of *Survivor 50* courtesy of the official trailer, and in that trailer are none other than *Survivor 49* winner Savannah Louie and fourth place finisher Rizo Velovic, thereby revealing the pair of contestants as the two players who competed back-to-back on seasons 49 and 50.

The rest of the *Survivor 50 cast* was announced on May 28, with host Jeff Probst explaining that there would also be two mystery players from the recently filmed installment joining the biggest cast ever of 24 returnees, but their identities would remain under wraps so as not to spoil that the two selected made it so far in their first trip to the island.

But the new *Survivor 50* trailer (which can be watched below) contains a lot more than just Savannah and Rizo, as old-school legends like Cirie, Ozzy, Coach, Colby, and Stephenie will mix it up with new-era stars including Dee, Charlie, Kamilla, Genevieve, and the undisputed master of hide-and-seek, Q.

Not only is there a surprising amount of game footage to be seen, but it also appears that celebrities are going to be heavily involved throughout the season as we see singer Zack Brown and Jimmy Donaldson (a.k.a. Mr. Beast) arriving in Fiji (along with a mysterious *Survivor* / *Beast Games *coin). Meanwhile, Rick Devens mentions a "Billie Eilish Boomerang Idol" while Christian Hubicki notes that "Jimmy Fallon may decide my fate in this game."

There is one person who cannot contain his excitement about the new season, and it is the man who has already seen it all unfold. “I’m over the moon excited about *Survivor 50,*” Probst tells **. “As you can tell from the promo — *Survivor 50*’s got it all — scale, history, unpredictability, jaw dropping moments, iconic players, emotional depth, crazy surprises, fan-driven chaos, and a sense that anything can and will happen and at any given moment.”

That is a far cry from the more subdued promotion Probst gave *Survivor 49, *which also received a somewhat lukewarm reception from fans. But the host is not holding back with his feelings on the all-stars season, which he predicts will be one of the best ever. “It’s not a question of if *Survivor 50* will be great,” he notes. “The only question is where it will land in the ranking of greatest seasons of all time.”

And even though these 24 returning players bring a history sometimes lasting up to four different seasons with them into season 50, Probst believes the strength of what makes it to the screen makes it a must-see for newbies and hardcore fans alike.

“I’ll say this: If you’ve never watched *Survivor*, THIS* *is the season to give it a shot. Just one episode. You won’t be disappointed.”

The non-disappointment begins when *Survivor 50* premieres Feb. 25 on CBS.
