Kim Cattrall, who played the incomparable Samantha Jones on all six seasons of *Sex and the City*, plus two movies, is officially taken.

The actress, 69, married 55-year-old audio engineer Russell Thomas on Thursday at Chelsea Old Town Hall in London, PEOPLE reported.

There were just 12 guests in attendance to see Cattrall wearing her Dior suit. *SATC* fans will appreciate that she was styled by the franchise's Emmy Award-winning costume designer Patricia Field.

Cattrall and Thomas, who are both British, met in 2016, when she appeared on the radio show *Woman's Hour*, which was a program of his employer, the BBC.

"We kind of liked each other, we kept in touch, and then he came out to Vancouver," Cattrall told PEOPLE in 2020. "It was very brave of him because we didn't really know each other other than having a few meals together. But he came and we got along great, and we've been together ever since!"**

Even back then, she said adoringly, "I'm very comfortable around him. He's a firecracker and he's got a wicked sense of humor. And he's easy on the eyes!"

She also raved about the former actor in June, during an interview with *The Times*.

"He's had an incredibly interesting life and really done it on his terms," Cattrall told the outlet. "He's a bit of a rebel, which I love."

She noted that the couple had "been together almost 10 years now" and have "just had so much fun."**

This is Cattrall's fourth marriage. She was previously married to Canadian writer Larry Davis from 1977 to 1979; architect Andre Lyson from 1982 to 1989; and to Mark Levinson, a musician, from 1998 to 2004.**

In addition to *Sex and the City*, on which she starred from 1998 to 2004, Cattrall's professional credits include several other TV comedies, such as *Queer as Folk* and *How I Met Your Father. *She's also appeared in movies including *Mannequin*, *Crossroads*, *The Ghost Writer*, *Police Academy*, and *Big Trouble in Little China*.
