Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen brought some extra joy to recess at a local school in Buffalo, NY.

His team shared a video of the moment on Instagram on Wednesday, May 27, in which Allen, 30, is seen approaching children in the schoolyard. “How you doing?," he asks over the fence as young kids come running.

"When @joshallenqb crashes recess. 😂," the team captioned the video.

“It's Josh Allen!” one child is heard saying with excitement.

“Come on buddy!” Josh says as the kids jump up to high five him over the fence. "Nice!"

The video then cuts to Allen joining the group of kids on the field during recess.

“Yes, I'm Josh Allen, that's me," he tells the kids as he keeps high-fiving them.

“You're my favorite football player,” one child tells the NFL star.

The sweet video comes shortly after Allen welcomed his first baby with his wife Hailee Steinfeld.

The Sinners actress, 29, announced the birth of the couple's baby girl in a post on her Substack titled "Special Delivery" in April.

"Our baby girl has arrived!!" Steinfeld wrote in the newsletter. "We're feeling incredibly grateful and blessed and savouring these early moments. Thank you so much for the love and well wishes."

Allen later opened up about how fatherhood is changing his relationship with football.

"I mean, I think it definitely changes mindset a little bit. I'm very excited," the quarterback said in a media conference on April 20. "I do think this is going to be the best version of myself. You know, in all aspects, in my professional career, in my personal life."
