Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s upcoming Australia trip seemed to have sparked “misinformation,” according to a source. They claimed that the couple would be “heading down” under for work. Therefore, it has reportedly been “sad” how the Sussex pair has been receiving criticism for their trip.

For those unversed, the duo would likely visit Australia in mid-April for charity engagements. Earlier, reports suggested that Markle’s forthcoming retreat would put her husband’s reputation at risk.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have once again caught attention related to their upcoming Australia trip. Since their retreat announcement, the couple has reportedly faced backlash from several royal experts. Meanwhile, a source recently opened up to The Mirror to reveal the truth behind the Sussexes’ trip. According to them, a bunch of “misinformation” has seemingly been circulating regarding the tour.

“The truth is you have a couple heading down under for work. While they’re in town, they’re going to check-in on some charitable causes that they have long supported and – in the Duke’s case with the Invictus Games – he set-up,” the insider said.

They also mentioned that Markle and Harry have allegedly been “critically aware” of the importance of visiting a charity. Their intention seemed to be to highlight the work of such charity engagements publicly that “wouldn’t otherwise exist.” Additionally, the source claimed that the ongoing misinformation was “designed to whip up hate.”

“God forbid they try to do any good in a world that could, frankly, use a little more Harry and Meghan, and a little less sniping from ‘Royal Commentators’ who make a living by proving hate bait for anyone willing to platform them. It’s sad. What a way to make a living,” they added.

Earlier, a report hinted that the decision to visit Australia allegedly didn’t sit well with Kate Middleton and other royal family members.
