Billy Ray Cyrus' ex-wife Firerose is looking back on her relationship with the "Achy Breaky Heart" singer — and not fondly.
In a scathing Instagram post Thursday, the Australian musician, whose real name is Johanna Rose Hodge, posted a video featuring photos and clips of the former couple. Alongside, she wrote, "If you've survived narcissistic abuse, you're not alone. It's chilling how similar survivors experiences really are. Behind closed doors, it's always the same playbook. Control, isolation, rage, manipulation, walking on eggshells, cognitive dissonance, feeling like the only person in the world that can be experiencing what you are. But I promise, God sees everything and there is a light at the end of the tunnel."
The video was set to a mashup of Billy Joels' "Piano Man" and Fleetwood Mac's "Silver Springs," the latter of which Stevie Nicks famously wrote about the end of her relationship with bandmate Lindsey Buckingham.
"You are far stronger than you think," Firerose continued. "Love is always still real, even if what you're experiencing right now is abuse, not love."

Entertainment Weekly has reached out to a rep for Cyrus for comment on the post.
Cyrus and Firerose married in October 2023, after dating for more than a year. Seven months later, Cyrus filed for divorce, with a source telling PEOPLE that Firerose wasn't "the person [Cyrus] thought he married."
The source added that Cyrus believed Firerose "married for other reasons but love. He believes she married him so he can take care of her financially. They've had drama and trust issues about money."

In her response to Cyrus' divorce filing, Firerose alleged in court documents that she had been "the victim of extreme verbal, emotional, and psychological abuse."
Cyrus denied such claims, and responded in court that he had been physically, emotionally, and verbally abused.
The officially settled their divorce in August 2024. Cyrus' attorneys told EW at the time that he was "relieved to put this nightmare behind him."
Meanwhile, a source close to Firerose told PEOPLE that she had opted to "walk away without fighting for money in order to be done with the volatile relationship and anything having to do with Billy."
Cyrus confirmed earlier this year that he's dating model and actress Elizabeth Hurley, and the two recently attended the CMA Awards together.
