The two-decade legal saga between Kim Kardashian and Ray J has a new exhibit: an alleged $6 million settlement.

Last November, Ray J claimed in a response and cross-complaint that he and Kardashian had agreed to a $6 million deal to not discuss their 2003 sex tape — and now the paperwork has reportedly surfaced.

On Friday, TMZ published a nine-page “confidential settlement agreement” that appears to be signed by Ray J (real name: William Ray Norwood Jr.), his mother Sonja Norwood, Kardashian, her mother Kris Jenner, and Kris Jenner Productions.

According to the alleged contract, all parties agreed not to “disparage or impugn the character, reputation, integrity, honesty, business or business practices” of each other. Additionally, Ray J must not hold Disney or its subsidiary Hulu (the streaming service that airs *The Kardashians* reality show) responsible for any claims.

The settlement agreement was reportedly filed as part of an ongoing defamation lawsuit that Kardashian and Jenner filed against Ray J, who responded with his own legal claims against the pair.

As ** previously reported, he countersued the mother-daughter duo in November 2025 alleging breach of contract over a preexisting agreement to never publicly discuss his sex tape with Kardashian.

Ray J's countersuit claims that Kardashian created “fresh fake Sex Tape ‘controversy’” to promote *The Kardashians* on Hulu in 2021 in which the reality star claimed that Norwood sexually assaulted her and gave a different sex tape to his “former manager.”

After entering mediation, he alleges, Kardashian agreed to pay him $6 million, and he claims that all of the involved parties agreed to “refrain” from "any further public reference to the Sex Tape,” which included on *The Kardashians*.

One month later, he claims in his court filing, two episodes of season 3 of *The Kardashians* contained multiple references to the sex tape, thus breaching their contract. The singer’s cross-complaint alleges that Kardashian and Jenner “insisted” the agreement didn’t cover season 3, since those episodes were filmed before the final agreement.

Ray J’s countersuit was in response to an October 2025 complaint filed by Kardashian and Jenner, suing the singer for defamation over a comment he made to TMZ. “If you told me the Kardashians was being charged for racketeering, I might believe it,” he said in a May 2025 interview.

Four months later, Ray J doubled-down on his claim during a Sept. 24 Twitch livestream. “The federal RICO I’m about to drop on Kris and Kim is ‘bout to be crazy,” he told viewers. “The feds is coming, there’s nothing I can do about it.”

Most recently, in March 2026, Kardashian and Jenner addressed Ray J’s accusation that they intentionally leaked the sex tape back in 2007.

“His claim that I had a plan with my mother and others to release a sex tape, defraud the public, and file a ‘fake’ lawsuit against the porn company that released it to ‘create buzz’ is a lie,” said Kardashian in court declarations filed in Los Angeles on March 10.

Jenner also blasted Ray J’s assertions as “disgusting.”

“As a mother, the notion that I orchestrated or produced sex tapes involving my daughter, or was in any way involved in the creation or distribution of any sex tapes, is not only entirely untrue, but deeply offensive and harmful and has haunted me for decades,” wrote the famous manager and mother of six.

Additionally, Jenner said she was “absolutely heartbroken, crushed, and devastated as a mother to see my daughter in this situation where her most intimate and private moments were exposed to the world.”
